Today technology can walk in the same line between digital camera and digital VDO. The old era we separate between photographer and cameraman but this era I might separate photographer in 3 levels by job descriptions
1. We could call " Visualer " who take care of visuals since preproduction until post production. this photographer do not necessary to click their shutter but keep an eye on monitor and style
2. We could call "Captureman" who play in "Igor" role because this guy should always stand by behind expensive stuff and ready for push switch under director order.
3. We could call "free-er" who feel free to shoot everyone everything and everywhere in Snap process that mean this guy will get Snap budget also.

We worked with Justin Cooper for Herbal essence in our studio last month. Mostly of artist choice is go for real even hair and movement for a natural look. So we need to prepared a lot of fastest strobe light and managed the power to generated shortest flash duration to freeze the hair from head to swinging hair's tip. We use a magician hair stylist to organize the hair in order. If we did motion on hi speed camera the figure free lighting must be choose but the big problems are temperature and power when you need the same EV and true color from HMI compared with strobe light.

It would by nice when people try to communicate with direct message. "GIVE ME A JOB !!"

Everywhere can be your studio. When I shoot with strobe light I can cut all ambient light easier than movie light that why my pictures can present true color from strobe light kelvin and sharpen freeze.

It's a big movement in photography now

I can get an invisible thing by iPhone such as infrared ray from a general remote control ,shutter speed that can see a wave of guitar string. and this picture that took by HDR.

for Jumping shot the hardest is moment and freezing in our safety policy in these shoots we have to manage the power pacs (broncolor SCORO A4Ss) for powering with efficiency flash duration to freezing every hair details for 100% sharpness in appropriate shutter speed and DOF so we use a lot of powerpacs to generate power in the same flash duration
